Going To Brisbane

I have decided to take up the opportunity to go to work in Brisbane for a couple of months, until the end of this year. Work was pretty (read: very) quiet in Perth and Brisbane is probably the best location to work in that has been offered to date (compared to up north or in PNG). I jumped at the chance for a couple of reasons:

1) I get to visit BrisVegas at the company's expense
2) I knew I was going to be asked, so I put my hand up before they actually told me to make sure I can get the dates off that I needed to be back here in Perth between now and Christmas! *take notes*

It's a pretty lousy deal in terms of pay, as I'll only be getting a meal allowance, but it's only a couple of months and there will actually be work there (which eliminates the boredom). We all know how hot the ladies are in Brisbane as well. Surfers Paradise. MovieWorld. DreamWorld. Gold Coast. All a train ride away.

What's the expression the ladies use. Oh yeah. *squee*
